Lecture on Amorphous and Crystalline Solids, MO Diagrams and Band Structure of Metals
In this lecture I describe amorphous and crystalline solids and introduce the various types of solid classifications (metals, ionic, covalent, molecular, polymers, nanomaterials). I also use MO theory to describe the band structure and "sea of electrons" in metals.
