It had been a long time since I'd visited a place so beautiful that I considered living there. And today, at this lake in Guatemala, that feeling came true. From the moment we arrived to explore the villages surrounding the lake, we began to enjoy the views, the weather, the food, and the people. Almost immediately, we thought this would be an excellent place to live, where tranquility and the scenery are everything. We are in Guatemala, specifically at Lake Atitlán. Despite being a popular tourist destination that attracts visitors from all over, it's such a large place with so many surrounding villages that it feels incredibly peaceful. Today, we're going to explore some of them, using boats as public transportation, and show you why this place has something so special that made us want to stay.
