Easy SOFT Nougat Recipe - Homemade White Nougat This Homemade white nougat is the best I've tasted. In the video you´ll get an easy recipe for soft nougat. I make it several times a week for friends and family. In my video, I use cashew nuts and dried raspberries for my homemade nougat. You can use whatever nuts you like. I bake the nuts in the oven, it gives the nougat more flavor. When making nougat, it is good if it can rest in a very dry place overnight before you cut the white nougat into smaller pieces. The best conditions is when the humidity is below 25%. When you cut your nougat into slices, they must be wrapped in something that is completely airtight, so the white nougat dosent absorb moisture and become greasy.
