In 2009, Lemken replaced the Thorit with the Karat 9. The series includes five different working widths, from a mounted 3 m cultivator to a trailed 7 m cultivator – and also two folding versions for three-point linkage: 4 m and 5 m. The last update was in 2020. Since then, the Karat has only been available with a quick-change system. A harrow can be fitted as an option. Lemken recently introduced the new Karat 10, which will be launched in limited numbers in 2022. It has one fewer tine and offers improved operator comfort.
