Touched a Japanese Heart💛Unforgettable Cambodian Home Cooking｜A Smiling Village & Local Food

Why does Cambodian home cooking taste so gentle and nostalgic? To find the answer, I visited a small fishing village in southern Cambodia. The setting is Trapeang Ropov Village, surrounded by the sea, rivers, mountains, and mangrove forests. Staying with my long-time friend Mai Mai and her family, I experience everyday life through local markets, home cooking, and shared meals — a side of Cambodia rarely seen by tourists. As a Japanese person who is not very good with spicy food, can I really enjoy Cambodian home cooking? 🍳 Featured Home-Cooked Dishes 🥬 Cha Ju Aem (ឆាជូរអែម) A home-style stir-fry made with pork, squid, shrimp, pineapple, and vegetables.
