HOW MANY BOILS ARE IN AN MSR 110g FUEL CANISTER ?
When going backpacking it's good to know how much fuel you'll need to prepare your meals, coffee or hot chocolate. Here I conduct a test with the MSR Pocket Rocket and MSR 110g fuel canister using 2 cups of water in a titanium pot with lid. The number of boils will vary at different altitudes and temperatures but maybe this will give you an idea of how you can estimate your particular fuel situation. Just remember, you always need more fuel as you gain altitude.
