Wind Energy and Wind Power Density
In this lecture, we derive the expressions for kinetic wind energy, wind power, and wind power density that we use in the wind energy sector to estimate the available wind resources at a site. The video also includes a tabular example which shows that small differences in wind speed result in significant differences in wind energy and wind power content.
