Quick Exploratory birding trip to Devon - Birding on the absolute edge of Gauteng! Lifer #518

Hi guys Went out for a quick birding trip to Devon, known as a spot to get Gauteng specials such as the Black Harrier, Blue Korhaan and possibly also grass owl. We used the Birding Gauteng guide book as our guide to the routes to drive. Extremely detailed and well written this guide book has helped with a few birding trips in and around Gauteng. Got 1 lifer on the morning - Orange River Francolin. An initial hurried sighting followed but a few more confirmation sightings later on in the day.
