Players Theatre in Lowestoft, Suffolk Haunted? I spent the night Alone to find out! A Genuine Paranormal Investigtion. Also known as The Bethel. A Church where Sailors once Dined, Danced and prayed. But is it Haunted? I spent the night ALONE! The Bethel' opened in February 1899 as the Seamen’s and Fishermen’s Bethel . The building closed around 2008 and was sold by the British International Sailors' Society to The Lowestoft Players as a headquarters with lots of potential. The building suffered damage during world war 2 and was also host to banquet and prayer. A Large Organ used to reside at the main rear wall. Many of the artists in the lowestoft players felt something has been present here whilst they rehearse. Could an old sailor be present still or is it something else?
