12 Day Europe Cruise on Carnival Legend Day#3 (Edinburgh and Edinburgh Castle)

Today we're in Edinburgh, Scotland. This is the birthplace of Scotch Whisky, Bagpipes and the home of Edinburgh Castle. We have a tour scheduled through Viator, but with the ship arriving late and the slow debarkation, we're not sure if we'll have a tour or not. We arrived at the designated meeting point over an hour late, but the tour operator accommodated all who were scheduled at an earlier time. We have seen another couple walking to their wedding...With Bagpipes as their wedding presession. Weddings seem to be a theme for this trip! We'll storm the castle (well us and the thousand or so other tourist stormed the castle) and see the oldest inhabited building in Scotland (Over 3000 years). The Scotch is everywhere, and we'll sample a few of the local verities.
