In this program, we'll take a tour of the Botanical Garden of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). This extraordinary space has become a refuge for more than 1,600 plant species, a living museum that transports us to the diverse ecosystems of Mexico. Experts will guide us through a tropical rainforest in the heart of the city, aquatic plants used for medicinal and culinary purposes, a vast collection of cacti, and an ethnobiological garden where we can enjoy plants cultivated throughout history—all in one place.
