In the opening round of the 2025 Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches, Jake Knapp shoots a career-low, 12-under 59 to take the solo lead, becoming the 15th player in PGA TOUR history to shoot a sub-60 round. Austin Eckroat returns to defend his title after finishing last year at 17-under, and is looking to become the first player to go back-to-back at this event since Jack Nicklaus in 1977-78.
