The ADF has also turned Eastern Congo into a luanch pad for its terrorism acts against Uganda. In Ethiopia guns are blazing as Tigray Defence Forces, a rebel outfit attempts to topple Prime Minister Ahmed Abiy’s government. In Sudan, protestors are on streets demanding the reinstatement of ousted Prime Minister Adbullah Hamdok. But can the region regain lasting peace?
