Get yours at https://PDSDebt.com/motormouth The 2025 Mazda CX-90 is powered by a 3.3L inline 6 turbo with a 48-volt mild hybrid system, it’s matched to an 8-speed automatic transmission, 340 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque with premium fuel. You can use regular fuel, but you’ll get a little less horsepower, torque number stays the same. The 2025 Mazda CX-90 base engine has the 3.3L inline 6 turbo but with less power, 280 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque. You can use regular fuel and the CX-90 comes standard with i-Activ AWD. Some of our first reviews of this gas model were not favourable towards the 8-speed automatic transmission but things have really improved through software updates. The transmission is less clunky, it’s smoother whether you use auto start/stop or not. We do find it smoother in normal mode than in sport. We have the 2025 Mazda CX-90 GT-P trim which is equivalent to the S Premium model in the US. The 2024 GT-P model in Canada came with captain’s chairs which we complained about in our review. Mazda is now offering it with a bench seat for 2025 which is a welcome addition. The top trim in both the US and Canada is a 6-passenger vehicle. Our 2025 Mazda CX-90 test model in Machine Grey Metallic has a black Nappa leather interior and it comes well equipped with features like a 360-camera, a 12.3” display screen which becomes a touchscreen with wireless Apple Carplay and Android, a 7” driver display, wireless charger, a heated steering wheel, heated and ventilated power front seats, heated rear seats, a 12-speaker Bose sound system, a panoramic sunroof and a power tailgate. In Canada the 2025 Mazda CX-90 GS $45,900 CAD, GS-L $50,750 CAD, GT $55,350 CAD, GT-P $59,300 CAD, Signature $63,300 CAD (MSRP).
