Easy Cheesy Hash Brown Bake This is another recipe that our family has served at our gatherings for years. It is the ultimate side for any meal, simple and delicious. If you like Cracker Barrel‘s version, you will love ours! • 1 Stick of Butter • 1 Medium Sweet Onion • 1 Can of Cream of Chicken Soup • 1 Soup Can of Milk • 30 oz. Bag of Shredded Hash Browns • 16 oz. of Sour Cream • 4 cups of Sharp Cheddar Cheese • 1 tsp. of Salt • 1 tsp. of Pepper In a skillet on medium heat melt the stick of butter. Add the diced onion and cook until translucent. Season with half the salt & pepper. Add the can of soup and milk to the butter and onions. Cook until thickened. Add your shredded potatoes to a large mixing bowl. Pour your mixture over top. Add in the sour cream and 2 cups of the cheese. Fold together, add the other half of the salt and pepper. Grease an 8.5 X 13 baking dish. Add your mixture to the dish and cover the top with the remaining cheese. Salt and pepper to taste. Bake in the oven for 1 hour on 400 degrees or until the top is bubbling and golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool for 15 mins. GET YOU SOME!
