3d Print Vacuum Casting Part 1 | Building the vacuum casting machine for casting metal

In this series I jump into the unknown to me world of 3d printed vacuum casting. In order to get started I had to do a bunch of research about how the process works (shown in the beginning) and then build the vacuum casting machine and de-gassing machine to be able to work with the plaster and later the metal. These machines retail for a lot of money and it seemed like a pretty simple thing to build - so I'm not sure what justifies the cost of them.....maybe I will find this out later.
