Stephen Bishop Little Italy
Video from Wrecking Crew's Pledge Drive. As many of you know, there are 1000s of recordings by the Wrecking Crew, but we wanted to share some of our favorites that might not be so obvious. One of those songs, “Little Italy” is from Stephen Bishop’s debut album, “Careless” in 1978. Stephen was so kind to talk about the recording that features, Tommy Tedesco on Mandolin. The song was a favorite of my father’s. At the end of the interview with Stephen, I added a film that I cut the song last year for my late mother, Carmie’s, 85th Birthday. You’ll see home movies from both of my parents; The Tedesco side and the Alongi side. When Stephen signs about Rosie, the images you’ll see on the screen are my grandmother Rose and Aunt Rose. Below is a list from two companies that have given us a preliminary agreement for “Wrecking Crew Take 2”. Some songs may come and go from this list, but overall, its looking good. More are coming from other labels. Now we’re in overdrive to raise the cash. Cross your fingers.
