CURSED Fujitec lift in Hong Kong

Location: Revenue Tower, 5 Gloucester Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong This was the lift I tried to access back in 2025 from the upper floors but failed. Turns out, it was actually pretty easy to access it from the lobby floor and I somehow didn't notice the doors leading to it. This time round, I did notice the way in from the main lobby floor and got to it easily. However, what really struck me was not so much of the fact that it had its original fixtures, but rather the mod it received. Just like all the other lifts in this building, it had its call stations replaced but everything else, including the COP was left intact. More recently, they changed the controller for this particular lift for some reason yet still left everything else intact, including all the fixtures and possibly the machine. The chimes and the way the door open button stays lit are telltale signs that this lift isn't running on its original controller anymore. Even weirder would be that despite that, the indicators still blink when going between floors as if the controller is still original! Certainly one of the strangest combinations I've come across, but it makes for a pretty unique setup nonetheless. At least the awesome touch sensitive floor buttons inside are still there. This lift was also very, very bumpy while in motion, and it was bouncing at quite an alarming rate especially on the way down. Still made for a fun ride, but it can't be good for the lift itself under high loads. Floors serves: UB, G, 1-48 Capacity: 21persons1600kg Manufacturer: Fujitec Co. Ltd.
