Well of the World's End: Dark Origins of The Frog Prince (Scottish Folklore)
Consider supporting me on Patreon: / liathwolf Even today there are many classic faerie tales that resonate with people of all ages. But what interests me the historic influences found in modern media and their origins. It seems as if some of these tale and legends are universally known and appear in each and every culture all around the world. One of these is simple tale of the frog prince or frog princess as many know think of it, a wicked spell placed upon a royal only to be broken with true loves kiss. But this was not always the story and here in Scotland we have our very own interpretation that could be found in the Scottish borders over 400 years ago. The well of the worlds end.
