Tarbosaurus: NOT T. REX!

Tyrannosaurus rex may be the most famous dinosaur of all, but few are aware that it had a doppelganger. In the 1940s Russian scientists discovered skulls and skeletons of a gigantic T. rex look-alike in the sands of Mongolia's Gobi desert. Known to most as Tarbosaurus bataar, this sleeker rex relative has an interesting story of its own to tell.
