#Reproduction in Paramecium/L-4/Conjugation in Paramecium & Binary Fission#पैरामीशियम -प्रजनन

In this video lecture class I describe about Reproduction in Paramecium for BSc/MSc, TGT/ PGT & NEET Student's in easy words. Paramecium multiplies very quickly by transfer binary fission. But this is interrupted at intervals by so-called sexual process Conjugation. Several type of nuclear organisation such as Endomixis,Hemixis,Autogamy and Cytogamy have also been reported. During favourable condition Paramecium multiplies by transfer binary fission. Conjugation is temporary pairing of two individuals of same species but from different mating types for exchange of their nuclear material. It occur after repeated binary fission and is essential for rejuenation and continuity of race. Conjugation is an important process of nuclear organisation and nuclear exchange recurring in between sexual reproduction. To some extent, it resembled the sexual reproduction of higher animals, end products of this process are 8 daughter Paramecium formed after sexual multiplication of the Exconjugants.
