Mugler Alien Mirage, Chloe Nomade Absolu perfume review on Persolaise Love At First Scent episode 62

Episode 62 of Love At First Scent This was a YouTube Live broadcast streamed on Sunday 26 January 2020. Unscripted. Unedited. Unrehearsed. In this episode, I covered: Mugler Alien Mirage (Fanny Bal & Dominique Ropion; at the start of the video) Chloe Nomade absolu de parfum (Quentin Bisch; at the 13:00 minute mark) Papillon Bengale Rouge (Liz Moores; at the 26:30 minute mark) In addition: there was a brief mention of Calvin Klein CK Everyone (Alberto Morillas; at the 33:30 minute mark) the classic scent was Boucheron Jaipur Homme edp (Annick Menardo; at the 19:00 minute mark) -- Here's the blotter update... To give it its due, the drydown of Alien Mirage is more recognisably Alien than the opening is. But it's still a fairly coarse, standoffish piece of work. Nomade absolu de parfum has turned out to be my least favourite of the Nomads so far. There's an excessive reliance of woods in the base, which detracts from the sophistication and smoothness of the whole. Bengale Rouge presents a rich, glowing (if, again, non-distinctive) tonka-sandalwood drydown. Jaipur Homme is a wonder: powdery, resinous, woody. All the elements beautifully balanced. Both rugged and gentle at the same time. Thanks for watching.
