This cocktail, originally created at the Bang Bang bar in the Teeling Whiskey Distillery, is a masterful Irish whiskey riff on the classic Mai Tai. But more than a drink, it's a nod to a brutal chapter of history. The term "Redleg" refers to the Irish immigrants forced to work the sugar plantations of Barbados in the 17th and 18th centuries—their fair skin burning under the tropical sun.
