I'm extracting copper from old Soviet chokes. Extracting copper from a choke for scrap metal is not easy. First, you need to disassemble the choke and remove the copper coil, which is usually heavily coated in glue and covered with paper, causing a large blockage. The copper needs to be cleaned of this blockage. Today, I'll try boiling the copper coils in boiling water to remove the glue and paper. I've boiled the stator windings before, and that helped remove the threads and paper that were stuck to the copper winding. We'll see what happens this time. If something happens, the copper coils can always be burned, but the main thing is not to burn the copper wire too much, or it will crumble. So, there's always a way to clean the copper from blockages.
