El corazón en la jota is the title of this new album, the fifth published by this musical group since its foundation in 1991 and the third by its current members. The work is made up of a total of 20 songs that show a varied repertoire in terms of styles and rhythms. Jotas, Mexicanas, jotas de picadillo and pasacalles make up the album published by the jotero group. Three of the songs in El corazón en la jota are new jotas composed by the Castejonera Olga Ruiz, director of the Cadreita jotas school. The current members of the ribero group have been working together for ten years, driven by their passion for the jota.
