China has announced its new gaming series graphics card, the Lisuan LX 7G106. I've prepared a preliminary review. The title might be a bit of an exaggeration, but I'm making this video so we can get a sense of what to expect. Manufactured using 6nm technology at a TSMC factory, the GPU comes with 12GB of GDDR6 VRAM and a 256-bit memory interface, but it lacks RTX. What surprised me most was how Lisuan managed to manufacture this graphics card at its TSMC factory in Taiwan, despite US sanctions. While its competitors are currently the NVIDIA RTX 4060 and AMD RX 7600, the Lisuan LX 7G106 appears significantly more powerful on paper. Although China is relatively new to the graphics card market, they've been making moves to reduce their dependence on foreign brands, particularly those that have held a monopoly for years. Now we're seeing the first details of this. The Lisuan LX 7G106 graphics card is reportedly coming out on June 18th. There are no concrete details yet regarding game tests and benchmark scores.
