BROKE DOWN DAYS AFTER PURCHASE. DID HE GET SCAMMED?

The customer bought this vehicle for around £6,000, expecting a good working car. A few weeks later, the head gasket failed. When we investigated it properly, we found exhaust gases escaping past the head gasket and going straight into the coolant passage. From there, the job turned into a full strip-down — cylinder head removed, valves out, springs removed, turbo off, intake stripped, EGR issues found, boost leaks discovered, and more hidden problems exposed along the way. This video shows the full process behind the repair: cleaning and lapping valves, checking for leaks, assembling the cylinder head, replacing the EGR assembly, upgrading weak components, timing the engine, and fitting OE quality matching parts to give this engine the best chance of lasting.
