FASHIONABLY LATE AS ALWAYS. 😂😂 ENJOY BABES!! 💖💖💖 con mucho, mucho amour, daniela 💖 ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ Who Am I? ☀️ 🌼 written by, produced by, and starring daniela zárate 👽, an extraterrestrial, multi-spirit kaleidoscope of a being interested in spurring spiritual and scientific revolutions in our collective human consciousness. 🌼 29 years old 🌼 Latina with rural Mexican roots 🌼 LGBTQ+ 🌼 San Diego, CA born & raised 🌼 Off the silver screen, Daniela is a biologist interested in the ecology, behavior, and evolution of social insect societies, mainly honey bees and wood ants. She completed her doctorate (PhD) in honey bee genomics and behavior at the University of California, San Diego in 2022. 🌼 Currently, she is completing a UC Chancellor's Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of California, Riverside with Dr. Jessica Purcell's research group, studying supergene evolution in a native wood ant. 🌼 Daniela strongly believes in the importance and value of science communication and education and strives to make science both accessible and enjoyable for a wide audience. Her science communication style is broadly influenced by theater, dance, spoken word, comedy, and telenovelas. 🌼 She is also currently working on developing STEAM educational programming for the incarcerated communities of southern California as part of a larger prison-industrial complex abolition project.
