Here's the procedure for making a joint or joint to join wooden beams. For this project, I used 2 x 6-inch pine. Using carpenter's glue makes the joint much stronger. Work done in my carpentry workshop in Calama, Chile, in the Atacama Desert, the driest desert in the world.
