We Caught a 3KG Barramundi... Then the Jungle Shocked Us! 😱🌿

🎣🏕️ Welcome to another Wild Trails adventure! This time, we set out before sunrise on a small boat in a saltwater river connected to the sea, hoping for a dream catch. What followed was a day packed with surprises, patience, adventure, and unforgettable moments. After hours of trolling and casting, we finally hooked a beautiful Red Snapper, followed by an incredible 3KG Barramundi that completely made our day! We also released a small Red Snapper back into the river to grow bigger and fight another day. With fishing done for the moment, we headed to our riverside campsite deep near the jungle. While exploring the area for firewood, we stumbled upon a wild jackfruit tree loaded with fresh fruit – an unexpected bonus to our camping trip. As the sun went down, we prepared evening tea, traditional Kerala snacks, and a delicious catch-and-cook recipe using our fresh Red Snapper. Later that night, we returned to the river for handline fishing and cast-net fishing, catching more fish and even some prawns. The adventure ended with an amazing Barramundi dinner by the campsite under the stars. From trophy fish catches to jungle discoveries, camp cooking, and night fishing, this trip had everything we love about the outdoors.
