NOTE: What you hear is the bass with the factory strings on. It had the least output of all of my basses. Since I've put on cheap Warwick Red Strings (Nickels), it is the LOUDEST!!! Very strange... SIGNAL CHAIN: Played through a Zoom B1on (preset: Solid State) into a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 (plus some ambient noise from the room mic); next take direct into Apple´s Garageband (I think "modern DI" is the name of the bass preset), finally into my old Ashdown EB 130-12 Combo mic´d with an Audio Technica AT 2010 condenser mic. CONDITION: I should mention that I've noticed a couple of minor flaws. A scratch or a chromeless spot on the bridge, a tiny little piece of missing wood in the fretboard around the 12th fret on the upper side and a scratch on one of the volume knobs. So the quality control guys are obviously not doing their job well. Considering this, one might rather invest the 130 Euros in a used bass and maybe get more for the money. But then again, 130 bucks won't get you far even in the market for used instruments. As to the tuners: The do their job, they just feel more "sloppy" or imprecise than those of my Fenders. But the bass stays in tune.
