“Property case after 12 years…? High Court Clarity: Not valid as per law!” Cases on immovable property, disputes, rights, claims on old documents — all these are subject to a clear time limit under the Limitation Act, 1963. Many people, not knowing this limit… 👉 After 20 years 👉 After 25 years 👉 Even after generations try to file cases. But the law says: The maximum limit for claiming rights on immovable property — only 12 years. The High Court has clearly stated in its latest judgment: ⚖️ Suit for possession / title declaration filed after 12 years → time-barred → not maintainable in court. ⚖️ Even if the claimant has evidence, if the limitation period is exceeded, the case is not maintainable. ⚖️ Limitation is very critical in property disputes. In this video I explain in detail: ✔️ When does 12 years apply in Limitation Act? ✔️ To what type of property cases does it apply? ✔️ Why are old possession cases cancelled? ✔️ Relationship between adverse possession & limitation ✔️ Who has what rights? ✔️ What did the High Court say in this judgment? This is a legal awareness that everyone who owns property must know. ⚖️ Subscribe to our channel for more legal updates.
