The church in Thyatira was performing great works, but the Lord warned them: great gain can never replace faithfulness. Where compromise takes root, the church's spiritual sensitivity weakens and its vision becomes clouded. This is why the spirit of Jezebel seeks to operate, for she abhors those in the church who are trained to pray prophetically. Because a church that rejects compromise and engages in prophetic intercession enters into a spiritual authority that enables it to see, expose, and overturn its dark works in order to establish God's reign on earth.
