The Buried Spitfires of Burma: A 'Fake' History - Book Launch Interview

Today I sit down and chat with Andy Brockman and Tracy Spaight about their recently published book ‘The Buried Spitfires of Burma A ‘Fake’ History’. This is a story which began back in 2012 when the theories of Lincolnshire farmer David Cundall came to international attention, namely the notion that there were between 12 and 140 Spitfires buried in their crates under and airfield in Myanmar (former Burma). Following an extraordinary archaeological investigation and subsequent publication, this book is a more ‘playful’ exploration of the story of the Buried Spitfires of Burma. *** Archaeosoup Patreon:   / archaeosoup   Soupy Discord Link:   / discord   #archaeology #history #anthropology Links: Documentary and Project website: https://buriedinburma.com/ Book Depository: https://www.bookdepository.com/The-Bu...
