#71 Combining 2 Amazing Swipe Techniques in this “Blue Sun” Acrylic Paint Pour - Very Unique! When I first started on this paint pouring journey, there were two specific artists that I spent hours every day watching. They were Molly from Molly’s Artistry (   / mollysartistry  ) and Cathleen from Coz Creations (   / cozcreationsart  . While I certainly can’t and don’t profess to be anywhere at their level, I HAVE paid close attention and the education I’ve gotten from merely watching them has been phenomenal. There are no rules in acrylic pouring, and that’s the beauty of it. So I thought it would be cool to combine two of these techniques into one painting. I hope you enjoy it. 🌹 The colors used are listed in the video. My base coat and paints (Round 1) were mixed with a pouring medium of 70% Floetrol (American) and 30% Creative Inspirations Polymer Gloss Medium and Varnish. 1p paint to 3p medium. All three cell activators were mixed 1p to 3p Australian Floetrol. The colored paints for Round 2 were mixed the same, except I added water to get them to a much thinner consistency. The base coat was AL White mixed with half Golden GAC-800 and half Liquitex Gloss Pouring Medium, about 1p paint to 3-4p medium mixture, with water added to thin.
