2005-2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.7 transfer case drain and fill (Amsoil)

Make sure to remove the fill plugs before removing the drain plugs! Front differential is a 14mm Allen key It holds 1.8 quarts 75w140 full synthetic gear oil, and 4 ounces of limited slip additive. The torque specs for the drain and fill plugs are 15-25 ft lbs. The transfer case holds 2.38 quarts of Mopar NV245 or Amsoil 5w30 tractor hydraulic/transmission oil. The Transfer case drain and fill plugs torque specs are 15-25 ft lbs. Transfer case skid plate nuts 55 ft lbs, and the bolts are 40 ft lbs. I just put mine at 1/8 past snug unless I am doing some major offroading then I will use the torque specs possibly. The rear differential has a rubber plug it would take a pump to remove the fluid with out removing the cover bolts and cover. The rear differential holds 2.37 quarts of Mopar or Amsoil 75w140 full synthetic, and a 4 ounce bottle of limited slip additive. Check with Amsoil about adding the limited slip additive. I added some to mine with Amsoil severe gear 75w140.
