Sebring After the Storm: NASA Spec E9X ST5 Race (Mixed Conditions Onboard)

This past Sunday, May 31, 2026, at Sebring Raceway we ran an ST5 race with NASA in Spec E9X in mixed conditions after a thunderstorm rolled through before the start. The track was mostly dry, but there were still a few areas with standing water that kept things interesting—especially early on. We went out on slicks and the opening laps were all about picking the right lines, avoiding the worst patches, and staying patient while the track continued to improve. As the surface dried out, the grip came up and the pace picked up with it, turning the race into a fun run of faster laps and close racing from start to finish.
