The concert was advertised under the mysterious name: “Diz and the Doormen.” Only a small number of fans knew where the rumors were coming from. Then the truth spread through the venue. The band on stage was actually The Rolling Stones. The secret performance was organized as a warm-up show before the band's upcoming European tour. By using a fake name, the group hoped to avoid massive crowds and experience the intimate atmosphere of a small club once again. The 100 Club held only around 400 people, making it one of the smallest audiences The Rolling Stones performed for during their stadium era.
