In today's program, we address the myths and beliefs surrounding Argentine education. We are joined by Emilio Tenti Fanfani, a specialist in the Sociology of Education, who, along with Alejandro Grimson, wrote "Mythologies of Argentine Education." Together, we discuss how these myths are constructed and their effects. We talk about how children with high cultural capital learn more, depending on whether the educational institution they attend is public or private. Regarding assessment, we believe it is an emerging myth that we must address.
