Dr. Kamila Miler-Zdanowska is an outstanding typhlopedagogue, researcher, lecturer at the Academy of Social Sciences (APS), and director of the Educational and Care Center for Blind Children in Laski. In her work, she combines theory with practice: for years, she has been teaching blind individuals independence and spatial orientation, coordinating international projects (including TOPON), and educating new generations of typhlopedagogues. For her contributions to education, she was awarded the Bronze Cross of Merit by the President of the Republic of Poland. In her private life, she is a happy wife and mother of three children.
