Skiing the Snowiest Place on Earth

I’ve heard the stories about legendary Japan storm cycles… but nothing prepares you for experiencing one in real life. This was one of those mega Japanese powder dumps you only see in ski films. Meters of snow fell over the past few days and everything seemed to be buried. After digging the car out, James and I finally hit the road in search of steeper terrain and deeper lines.
