The Greek Island you've never heard of

We visited a Greek island you’ve never heard of! A thirteen hour ferry from the city of Thessaloniki brings you to a place so far from the hordes of tourists on Santorini, Mykonos, and Crete you’ll have to pinch yourself to know you’re not dreaming. The mountainous interior of the island is dotted with small, peaceful villages and ancient olive groves surrounded by a rugged coast line with hidden coves, sandy beaches and cafes to sit in while enjoying the local food and hospitality. The island I’m talking about is Lesvos, located about 15 miles (24km) off the Turkish coast in the glistening, blue waters of the North Aegean, this island will make you wonder why you ever went anywhere else in the Mediterranean.
