Shifting The Focus in Our Homeschool (Starting with Morning Basket) + How I Choose Our Curriculum

Hi Friends! I'm sharing some more of our curriculum choices for next year, that includes Bible and other morning basket topics. Although I will be incorporating a bit of poetry, art and music into our morning time, I'm really going to be focusing more on discussions revolving around character development, emotional awareness and well-being, and learning about self through a Biblical worldview of apologetics. I'm really trying to shift my focus onto more practical and (what I personally feel) is more useful topics to help with later real life skills, as well as lay a solid Biblical foundation (something we've always strived for in our home). Going forward, this will be the focus and main core of our morning basket time, with other aspects (art, etc) gently woven in.
