The Bible speaks of the believers of Jesus Christ as "the Light of the World". These are a group of people called "Children of Light", who shine in the world, in the midst of a perverse generation, so their light could be seen. But what is a "perverse generation"? This language comes from OT scriptures, where God refers to Israelite in whom there was no faith. Therefore, they would not listen to God, rather, follow their own desires, lusts, opinions and wisdom. But now, through birth from the Spirit of our Father, we can hear what He says, believe it, and let His Light shine through us, that we can be a visible Image of our Father, just as Jesus was: the Light of the World.
