Humanitarian, Dr. Orbinski, on Tackling the Worlds Biggest Challenges Through Empathy
Few people have witnessed the breadth of human suffering and sacrifice as Dr. James Orbinski, one of our greatest humanitarians. Dr. Orbinski is a professor and the first Director of York University’s Dahdaleh Institute for Global Health Research. He has extensive experience in global health as a medical doctor, humanitarian practitioner, advocate, and best-selling author. Our 2023 Symposium themed “Empathy Towards a More Caring World“, brought people of all walks of life to hear our speakers discuss the importance of developing a more caring world through empathy. Without an empathic citizenry, you cannot have a caring society. A caring society aspires to leave no one out. Its citizens respond to the needs of others, understanding that it strengthens the whole. Donate to Roots of Empathy today: https://rootsofempathy.org/donatenow/
