REFLEXIVE PRONOUNS (myself, yourself, himself, herself...) || It is I or It is me

Hello, learners! In this lesson, we learn what reflexive pronouns are and how to use them in English. What is a reflexive pronoun? A reflexive pronoun refers back to the subject. When the subject (the doer of the action) and the object (the receiver of the action) are the same people, we use a reflexive pronoun as the object. A reflexive pronoun is either an object of a verb or the object of a preposition. Myself Ourselves Yourself Yourselves Himself Herself Itself Themselves Examples: She loves herself. I will kill myself. They are blaming themselves for his death. We should appreciate ourselves for this performance. This dog bit itself last night. He does not believe in himself. NOTE: a reflexive pronoun can also be an indirect object. I gifted myself a beautiful car. He sent himself the file. REFLEXIVE PRONOUN vs EMPHATIC PRONOUN Reflexive: I love myself. Emphatic: I myself made this cake. Reflexive: She slapped herself. Emphatic: She cleaned the house herself. #reflexivepronouns #reflexivepronounsexamples Contact me on my Instagram page or direct mail me for ONE-ON-ONE classes! ►Instagram:   / engwithash   ►Gmail: [email protected] ======================================================== Why are you learning English?
