🌏 Direito sem Fronteiras - Organismos multilaterais vivem crise sem precedentes

The future of the World Trade Organization (WTO) will hardly be decided at the next meeting between member countries, scheduled for March 2026. The WTO has been practically paralyzed since 2019, when the United States began systematically blocking the appointment of new judges to the organization's appellate body. To varying degrees, uncertainty and weakening currently mark all multilateral organizations created at the end of World War II, such as the UN, the World Bank, and the International Monetary Fund. And this is the topic of this week's "Law Without Borders" program. Journalist Guilherme Menezes talks with Sérgio Martins Costa Coelho, a specialist in Constitutional and International Law, and with Luciana Maria Brassolatti de Oliveira, a postdoctoral fellow in International Law and professor at the University of Brasília (UnB).
