DISABILITY IS NOT INABILITY - TALA PRIMARY SCHOOL Disability tried to slow them down, seeking to bring them to a grinding halt but these students from Tala have refused to be slowed down. They continue to show resilience and a thirst for education despite the odds. Many of them having walked for miles to come to school, they needed someone to give them a chance. For a moment however, their future seemed threatened because the chances of them pursuing higher education were limited because of their disability with many of them dropping out after class 8. But the administration of St Mary’s School Tala has refused to give up on them.
