Unavoidable Disaster? Porsche Macan 3.0 Twin Turbo V6 Engine With MULTIPLE Mechanical Failures!

Today we have a first! This is the 3.0L Twin Turbo V6, Known as the CTMA from a 2018 Porsche Macan S. This engine is a core return, meaning its the bad engine pulled out of a vehicle after a good used replacement was installed. I didn't get mileage or a story with this, but this teardown uncovers everything! Multiple failure modes, some unrelated to each other, worked together to cost the owner of this vehicle thousands of dollars in repairs. But could it have been avoided? Would a little attention paid to abnormal noises and smells have saved the day or would this happen no matter what the owner or driver did? CLEAN! 11:34 Removing the RH Valve cover. All Looks great!
