We Went Looking For Campsites And Found A Hailstorm,

Bill is still fairly new to riding, so we headed west into the Alberta backcountry for some gravel-road practice, campsite scouting and a bit of adventure. We rode the Africa Twin and KLR650 through a mixture of pavement, loose gravel and rougher backroads before tackling a decent uphill section that gave Bill a chance to put his skills to the test. He handled it well, and we continued exploring some potential camping areas farther west. The weather had other plans for our ride home, and we ended up getting caught in a nasty hailstorm before making it back. Overall, it was a great ride and another big step forward for Bill as he gets more comfortable riding on gravel and in changing conditions. Thanks for watching.
